Different Smartabase applications and features support a number of languages other than English (you can view the list of supported languages here). These translations apply to all text that is a part of the Smartabase system. Because event forms, profile forms and other Smartabase objects are created in English, if someone has their user account […]

Application Theme

The application theme tool  is a legacy module that was created to edit the theme (colours, logo and images) of a Smartabase site. This module is largely obsolete now and has been replaced by better options, such as site-wide CSS found in application details and CSS for page layouts.

Application Details

The application details tool (generally only visible to Fusion Sport staff) is used to edit a Smartabase site’s details, such as name, sub-domain and type. The application details tool is also used to apply site-wide theming using logo, banner and background images as well as customised CSS files. If required by your organisation, the following features can […]

Event forms

You can use the event forms tool to build and edit event forms. Event forms collect and store chronological data about people (represented by their user account), so that you can understand and analyse their performance over time. When you open the event form tool, you’ll see a list of all event forms on your Smartabase site. […]

The Database forms module is used to build database forms. Database forms collect and store data which can be used to fill out a database field in an event or profile form. For example, a strength database may contain hundreds of exercises, each of which can have additional information about the exercise. A food database could contain macro and micro-nutrient […]

Profile forms

The profile forms module is used to build profile forms. Profile forms collect and store data that is not tracked over time and is not date sensitive; this data can be considered static. Profile forms can only be updated to current values and no record of previous values is kept. Multiple different profile forms can be filled […]

Related Entities

Related entities are entities that people can use to interact with when using the related entity calendar or scheduling and using appointment modules. Related entities can be people, places or equipment. Related entity forms are created for entities that do not need to have data entered against them and therefore can’t exist within Smartabase in […]

Performance Standards

The performance standards module is used to build, edit and apply performance standards. Performance standards are a means of giving instant visual feedback to the user by applying different colours to data entered for numbers and options depending on what criteria is matched. The concept of performance standards is similar to conditional formatting used by […]

Performance Explanations

The performance explanations module performs a similar function to that of the performance standards module. Performance explanations are a means of giving instant textual feedback to the user. Their purpose and function is essentially the same as that of a performance standard except that instead of applying a colour to a question field depending on […]
