Tables! Our most requested feature is finally here.
The Smartabase Athlete app can now display tables that have been set up in event forms. This allows you to add new data to a table, add rows, edit existing records and view summaries of tables. We’ll continue to add more new table functionality over the coming weeks. This release also contains some bug fixes, as follows:
- We’ve fixed an issue that prevented age calculations from working. These should now correctly calculate a person’s age based on the date of birth recorded within their user account.
- People who have read-only access to event forms (i.e do not have write or delete data permissions for an event form) were able to edit existing records for those forms, although this did not actually overwrite the existing data. We’ve resolved this issue and the Smartabase Athlete app won’t allow people to edit records without the correct data permissions.
- The multi-athlete selector field isn’t yet supported by the Smartabase Athlete app, and we’ve updated how this field is handled when included in an event form enabled for Athlete app use so that there’s no impact on records viewed from the Smartabase mobile app or the web application (which do support this field type).
