We’re delighted to give you a short update on our continued optimisations to Smartabase’s dashboard builder.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you haven’t tried the dashboard builder yet, check out\u00a0<\/span>our helpful guide<\/a>. We’ll show you how to set up dashboards, use dashboard components and understand the data being displayed within your dashboards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Expect the 2.16 update\u00a0to become available to you shortly.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Personalise tables with better support for avatars<\/span><\/h4>\n

Within the<\/span> table widget<\/a> you can now choose to replace the data for a column with an avatar. This means the data for that column will not appear when you use the avatar settings to enable the Show avatar only<\/em> property.<\/span><\/p>\n

Streamline use of your dashboards with more default settings<\/span><\/h4>\n

If you have<\/span> select boxes<\/a> set up to <\/span>filter data for other widgets<\/a>, you’re now able to simplify the selection process for people who interact with your dashboard. The select box widget has a new property which allows you to specify a default selection.<\/span><\/p>\n

When commonly used values exist in your organisation (such as viewing the data for the current year as in our example here), then you can streamline the dashboard experience by using those as the default selections.<\/span><\/p>\n
