It builds on our recent security updates and ensures your systems are even more secure. Plus, there are quality-of-life improvements for administrators and builders. Here is a short overview of the main changes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">New feature to re-save event form data for a selected period of time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">New advanced form property for disabling <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/data-conflicts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">event data conflict<\/a> notification emails.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Improvements to how <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/wet-signature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signature<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/smartabase-question-types#entered-on\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">entered on<\/a> fields are handled within tables.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Re-save event form data for a selected period of time<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Resaving an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/event-pages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">event form<\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"> is an important step when you add or change calculations, but it can take a lot of server resources. Now, you can select a specific period when you begin a resave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6302 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Resave-period-selection-300x175.png\" alt=\"A screenshot showing an example of the options for re-saving data from a specific date range\" width=\"300\" height=\"175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Resave-period-selection-300x175.png 300w, https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Resave-period-selection-768x448.png 768w, https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Resave-period-selection.png 792w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Only the records within that period will be recalculated. This can save you a lot of time when working with large volumes of data.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Performance tip: when you use this functionality, make sure to start with the oldest records first as it reduces the load that calculations have on your server.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Disable conflict notification emails using a new advanced form property<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/data-conflicts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">data conflict management tool<\/a> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">feature exists to protect your data &#8211; when a conflict occurs (for example, when two people overwrite each other&#8217;s changes to records on Smartabase) it sends an email to a nominated person, who can resolve the conflict. However, updates to data entered into Smartabase via an integration can also trigger unnecessary conflict notifications. To ensure you only get important conflict notifications, we suggest you disable event data conflict logging for any integration even forms that cause conflict. You can do this using a new advanced form property.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6301 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Option-to-disable-Event-Data-Conflicts-300x152.png\" alt=\"A screenshot showing the advanced field property to disable the logging of event data conflicts\" width=\"300\" height=\"152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Option-to-disable-Event-Data-Conflicts-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Option-to-disable-Event-Data-Conflicts.png 520w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Improvements to how signature and entered on fields are handled within tables<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/wet-signature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signature<\/a> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">and<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/smartabase-question-types#entered-on\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">entered on<\/a> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">fields are an important component of forms which support medical and legal processes. We have improved them in several ways that make them more secure when used in<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/tables\/\">tables<\/a> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">or when you use <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/group-data-entry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">group entry mode<\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">When a table row is duplicated, neither the <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/wet-signature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signature<\/a> nor the <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/smartabase-question-types#entered-on\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">entered on<\/a> field will be duplicated with the rest of the data. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A duplicated <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/wet-signature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signature<\/a> field will be blank and a duplicated <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/smartabase-question-types#entered-on\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">entered on<\/a> field will calculate the correct date for the new row.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In a table, once a <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/wet-signature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">signature<\/a> field has been entered:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">You can&#8217;t use the <strong>Fill Down<\/strong> or <strong>Copy Last<\/strong> options to copy a signature from a previous table row.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">You can&#8217;t use the <strong>Fill Down Entire Row<\/strong> option to copy signatures from previous table rows.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><em><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Please note that if a row is overwritten by using the <strong>Fill Down Entire Row<\/strong> option, any signature fields in that row will be cleared.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">General security improvements and bug fixes<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">We continue to engage in regular code scans and penetration testing. This results in a more secure platform across the board. Moreover, many of our clients have specific security requirements. Our sports science service team can help to prepare your Smartabase site for the demands of your environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">People couldn&#8217;t access a file that was uploaded via a <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/multi-file-upload\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">multi-file upload<\/a> field that was entered using <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/group-data-entry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">group entry mode<\/a> or a multi-athlete selector field. This is now fixed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">We&#8217;ve resolved an issue where <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/linked-calculations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">linked calculation<\/a> field sometimes did not respect the advanced field property setting the linked update range.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The pop-up window for selecting multiple options now has the correct height (such as the systems permissions collection when modifying a <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/roles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">role<\/a>). Previously, the window height could be too small in specific instances.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">We&#8217;ve fixed a problem that meant the password criteria error message was wrong in certain cases.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A rare issue with incorrect event dates for records created using <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.fusionsport.com\/help\/article\/group-data-entry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">group entry mode<\/a> has been resolved.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-bottom: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Changes to Chrome affected the ability to preview PDF files in Smartabase.
